The short version

1. Who we are

Bragd ("we", "us") is based in the UK. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

For any privacy question or request, email hello@bragd.ai.

2. What we collect

3. How we use it, and why we're allowed to

We don't use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. AI tools help us prepare your translation, and a real person reviews everything before it reaches you.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your data and never share it with employers or recruiters. We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, under contracts that require them to keep it secure:

We may also share data if the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers store or process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (or equivalent safeguards) to protect your data.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your CV and answers for up to 12 months after we deliver your translation, so you can come back with questions, then delete them. Payment records are kept for 6 years, as required by UK tax law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can:

Email hello@bragd.ai and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

8. Cookies

This website doesn't set cookies or use analytics trackers. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when you visit. Our Tally form may use its own cookies; see Tally's privacy policy for details.

9. Security

We limit access to your data to the people who need it to deliver your service, and use providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll tell you and the ICO promptly if a breach puts your data at risk.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email you if we hold your details.
